UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE TANKS EP/EPP

Underground drainage tanks are used for temporary storage and collection of petroleum products at oil and gas and coke chemical industry enterprises, as a reservoir for draining fuel from process systems, for storing gas condensate, for draining residues of various aggressive liquids (oil, lubricants, diesel fuel, transformer oil, gasoline, alkalis, acids, wastewater, etc.). It should be noted that they are not used for draining liquefied petroleum gases (LPG).

EP tanks, like horizontal tanks RGS, are used for collecting liquids in small volumes (usually up to 63 cubic meters). For larger volumes of liquid raw materials, vertical tanks (RVS) are used. For storing bulk materials, silos and bunkers are used.

The production of tanks at SAMRUK KAZ LLP is carried out in accordance with GOST R 52630-2012 "Welded Steel Vessels and Apparatuses." The manufacturer uses modern technologies for metal processing, welding, anti-corrosion treatment, and loading for transportation.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE TANKS EP/EPP:

· Suitable for storing products of hazard classes 2 to 4 (according to GOST 12.1.007-76);

· Designed for storage temperatures from -15°C to +80°C;

· Designed for internal pressure up to 0.07 MPa;

· Suitable for kinematic viscosity of the drained product up to 30•10^-6 m²/s;

· Suitable for product density up to 1000 kg/m³.

SAMRUK KAZ LLP recommends ordering EP/EPP tanks with internal and external anti-corrosion coatings to extend service life. Coating properties are selected based on the characteristics of the drained product and the operating conditions.

MANUFACTURE OF UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE TANKS

SAMRUK KAZ LLP manufactures two types of underground drainage tanks:

· EP – without heater;

· EPP – with heater, for regions where ambient temperature falls below the freezing point of the liquid.

Heating of EPP tank shells is provided by a metal coil of pipes inside the shell, through which a steam-water mixture circulates, or by a heating cable.

SAMRUK KAZ LLP holds the necessary Certificates of Conformity for manufacturing underground drainage tanks EP and EPP.

In addition, during manufacturing and installation, our specialists follow the following regulatory documents:

· GOST R 34347-2017 "Welded steel vessels and apparatuses. General technical requirements";

· PB 03-584-03 "Rules for the design, manufacture, and acceptance of welded steel vessels and apparatuses";

· Industrial safety rules for hazardous production facilities using equipment operating under excess pressure;

· STO 00220227-005-2009 "Welded steel vessels and apparatuses of high pressure. General technical requirements".

All underground drainage tanks are manufactured using the following grades of steel depending on operating conditions:

· Steel grade St3sp – for operation at temperatures down to -20°C;

· Steel grade 09G2S-9 – for operation at temperatures not exceeding -40°C;

· Steel grade 09G2S-8 – for regions with a five-day average temperature below -40°C.

Depending on the operating temperature in the region, the following design versions are produced:

· Version 1 – for calculated ambient air temperatures of the coldest five-day period below -20°C;

· Version 2 – for temperatures down to -40°C;

· Version 3 – for operation at temperatures down to -60°C.

Depending on the climate conditions, all drainage tanks are produced in three climate versions:

· HL1 – for use in cold climates;

· UHL1 – for moderate climates;

· T1 – for tropical climates.

For reliable operation, waterproofing and thermal insulation are provided during the design stage.

Underground drainage tanks are manufactured in accordance with GOST R 52630-2012 "Welded Steel Vessels and Apparatuses" and TU 1415.004-466214309-2008. The quality of our EP tanks is confirmed by the Permit for Use No. RRS.00-047039 and the Certificate of Conformity No. Ross.RU.AV17.P01286.

The warranty period for EP/EPP drainage tanks manufactured by NIKOILSERVICE is 18 months from the date of commissioning, but not more than 24 months from the date of shipment to the customer.
